Meet Angel Mendez, one of the 2025 Back of the Yards Scholarship Winners!
Angel will be attending Illinois Wesleyan University with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Economics. After, he wants to be an IT contractor and gain hands-on experience by helping small businesses. Eventually he wants to run his own independent IT service business.

Jenny will be attending Lake Forest College and plans on graduating in 2029 with a major in Biology on a Pre-Med Track. After, she wants to become an anesthesiologist and address environmental and health disparities in underserved neighborhoods.
