Welcome to the official website for the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC), Ballet Folklorico, SSA #7, SSA #10, SSA #13, & SSA #39.

BYNC is located at 1823 W. 47th Street in Chicago, serving a large area of Chicago’s Southwest Side that includes the communities of Brighton Park, McKinley Park, and New City.

By combining social and economic programs into a single community-based intermediary organization, the Council leads a holistic approach to addressing the social problems that have plagued the Back of the Yards neighborhood and surrounding communities.
