Our Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council Ballet Folklorico group was recognized for its efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. When COVID-19 hit, a group of young adult artists identified a shortage of masks in our neighborhood. With this shortage, the artists pivoted from its normal costume-making process to making masks to be distributed in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. Congratulations, and thank you to the BYNC Ballet Folklorico Artist.
