In the past month, the holidays were made bright for over 3,000 local children who participated in our two Holiday Toy Drive events; this would not have been possible without your continued generosity and support! Back of the Yards Ballet Folklorico Wins “Best of the Best” Title in International Competition
When the members of the Back of the Yards Ballet Folklorico decided to make the drive down to San Antonio, Texas to compete in the annual ACADEZ Folklórico Competition, they had no expectation to win the top prize.

In 2012, several projects designed to attract and retain local businesses have been completed in the four Special Service Areas (SSAs) managed by the Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council (BYNC).

SSA 39 Programs
Special Service Area 39 (SSA 39) servicing Brighton Park and Archer Heights was established in 2007. Joining the now 44 SSAs throughout the City in providing services above what the City would normally provide to its constituents.
