BYNC celebrates with local businesses during Phase 3 – Reopening
Join us, as Chicago safely reopens – Phase 3 to support our local businesses in Back of the Yards on Friday, June 19, 2020 starting at 11:00 AM. BYNC will giveaway PPE kits and food gift cards from our local grocers to the first 500 Back of the Yards residents. (Please bring proof of residency)
The parents and young adults of Ballet Folklorico of Back of the Yards have volunteered to make face masks. Approximately, 2,000 will be given away during the event.
In addition, over 30 businesses in SSA 10 Back of the Yards business corridor will receive $1,000 grants. And approximately, 50 businesses in the Brighton Park/Archer Heights SSA 39 business corridor will receive $2,000 grants. This Small Business Economic Relief Fund Grant will help business owners that have been impacted by COVID – 19 Pandemic. Check disbursement will starting on Friday, June 19.
Throughout the past month, we have supported first responders, teachers and senior living facilities by supplying over 1000 meals. All food was purchased from local restaurants in our community. During the pandemic, we’ve given personal assistance to over 700 businesses to help them navigate lending and grant opportunities.
We cannot be more excited to see you this Friday, June 19 starting at 11 am. This event will kick-start at 47th/Honore (BYNC Parking Lot) for a Drive-up or Walk-up giveaway. Local Business welcome you with special deal for the day.
