The Back of the Yards Neighborhood Council and SSA #10 is supporting our small business owners suffering from labor shortage since 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The SSA #10 program will be offering grants of $2,500 to businesses within the SSA #10 district who are willing to hire at least one employee per business. The purpose of this grant is to help stimulate our local economy and bring jobs back into our community. This grant will help recover and rebuild the workforce in our business district that have been struggling to hire and retain jobs this past year.
